SPR Bolt

The new liner bolt has all of the benefits that triumph over the century’s old standard liner bolt. The standard bolt that is currently used, only provides the ability to fasten liners to the mill without any additional benefits beyond that capability. This bolt has all of the benefits of the standard through hole liner bolt, with added benefits of removal of the bolt shank from the exterior during the reline. This new bolt will function as the standard allowing liners to remain unaffected saving on costly design alterations. These bolts will produce safer relines and improve efficiency significantly. Below are some of the benefits this bolt will provide.

• This bolt has a head that will truly and properly seat inside of the liner, not misaligned. When a bolt is point loaded due to improper seating in the liner cavity, it increases the possibility that the bolt may become fatigued or fracture near the head or threaded section.
• This bolt will decrease the necessary force required to achieve desired tension.
• This bolt will reduce the workload it takes to remove bolts.
